Special Town Board Meeting – Monday, April 21, 2008 – 5:30 pm – Conference Room

Chairman Bollweg called the meeting to order at 5:30 pm. Present at roll call were Chairman Bollweg, Supervisors Weiss, Palmer, Allis, Holden, Clerk Polyock, Atty. Schiltz.

Weiss/Holden motion to convene into closed session per Section 19.85 (1)(e) – deliberating or negotiating the purchasing of public properties. Roll call vote – Weiss, Palmer, Allis, Holden, Bollweg – voting in the affirmative

Weiss/Bollweg motion to reconvene into open session. Carried without negative vote.

Palmer/Allis motion to accept the Tallgrass bid for burning the brush piles not to exceed $3425.00. Carried without negative vote.

Supervisor Weiss explained that the difference between the two options Chase had offered is $2,051.08. The pre-payment penalty associated with the one bid is for the first three years.

Weiss/Holden motion to take option #2 with a fixed rate of 3.15% with $4,600 in closing costs. Carried without negative vote.

Holden/Weiss motion to adjourn. Meeting adjourned at 6:45 pm.
