- Additional information can be found on sources of funding and assistance for water and wastewater projects for individuals and local governments on the Department of Natural Resources website at: www.dnr.state.wi.us/org/caer/cfa/EL/Forms/sources.html.
- The Linn Sanitary District will be sending out a newsletter with an update on the District’s sanitary waste management. Included in the newsletter is a tri-fold flyer on care and maintenance of your private on-site wastewater treatment system (POWTS). Take a few minutes to review and follow some of the suggestions on taking care of your POWTS for a longer lasting and more effective treatment of your wastewater.
- POWTS’ failure is often the results of problems with the soil absorption component system or drain field. A functioning drain field is vital for both treatment and disposal of the wastewater effluent. Click here for suggestions on drain field care.
