Town of Linn Fire and EMS

"Proud to Serve"

Town of Linn Fire/EMS is a paid-on call department providing services to residents and those that visit this unique area. We are committed to providing quality service utilizing dedicated individuals well trained for emergency situations. Our roster has several members on the Walworth County Fire Investigation Team as well as the Walworth County Haz-Mat Team. We also have a Dive/Water Rescue Team for summer and winter conditions.

Our department is a member of M.A.B.A.S. (Mutual-Aid Box Alarm System) Division 103 providing and receiving resources and support from area departments when necessary. We provide fire inspections for our business community and are dedicated to fire prevention education for our schools.

Our EMS provides Intermediate level care, transporting to Mercy and Lakeland Hospitals as necessary. Our Auxiliary provides scene support and assists in fundraising, interdepartmental events and is active in the community events we host and partake in.

Department members participate in training exercises the first and fourth Monday of each month and hold a membership meeting the third Monday of each month excluding holidays. The Officers and Trustees of the Department also meet on the last Wednesday of each month.

In January 2006, two separate entities joined together to continue traditions that were started in 1949 by the Fire Department and 1981 by Emergency Medical Services. Tied by a common goal and dedication, we are now stronger and more focused on providing the highest level of service possible.
